Exercises Program and Time Saving

Exercise doesn’t have to suck up all your time. Most people use the excuse that they just don’t have time to exercise or workout and with the speed of today’s society, I’m sure they have a valid point. But if you could find an exercise program that fit into your schedule because it was quick and very effective, there is no reason left not to workout. I have found that program. Let me give you a little background on how I know it works so good!

I had just had my second child and was feeling like a beached whale, okay, I wasn’t that big, but you feel like that sometimes. So I joined a local gym and started working out there several days week for about two hours per visit. I was looking better, feeling better and shedding a few pounds, but for all that effort and all that time spent working out, I was expecting much more in the results category. While I was working out at the gym, I noticed many of the other members working out just as hard as I was and not seeing any changes in them either. So out of frustration and feeling like I was wasting time and money, I stopped going to the gym and started hunting for some kind workout that would really work the way we all want them to work . . . quick.

Well, I started trying all different kinds of video workout tapes and CDs searching for something that produced the results I was looking for. I finally came across a cardio kick boxing video that also incorporated some weight lifting. I stuck with it for a few months and my body was changing for the better. The only problem was that the video was an hour long and I was getting bored doing the same thing over and over. Eventually I stopped seeing any changes because my body got use to the workout. So again I set out to find something that would work quickly, not get boring, and not take hours to do.

Then I found the exercise program that suited me at best. First I started using it but I was worried that it wasn’t going to work the very first day because it seemed way to easy and very short. I only worked out for about 25 minutes and I was done. That is less than one quarter of the time I spent at the gym. But to my surprise, the next day, I had sore muscles! I was so happy, it was a good pain! So I continued to follow the instructions and in only 2 weeks, I could visibly see a difference in my body. I was in shock that it happened so fast.

I stuck with the workout and now I am in the best shape ever. I weigh less than I did before I had kids, I have more muscle tone than when I was a teenager and I have to go buy smaller clothes because everything is too big.

Also I got sick during the Christmas holiday this past year. I didn’t workout while I was sick and I lost my workout momentum. So when I finally got better, I just couldn’t make myself start up again, even knowing how quick it worked and how short the workouts were. I was in a slump. You know what I am talking about.

So then Spring was coming around the corner and it was time to start digging out the shorts. Well, all I had to do was try on one pair of shorts that didn’t fit very good and look in the mirror in horror and the motivation returned, warp speed. I knew I would want to be wearing shorts during the hot weather that was soon to come, so I cracked down and got back to the workout that had changed everything for me. It didn’t take long to start seeing results again. I lost about 15 pounds in 4 months. Now you have to take into account that I am also eating very healthy. Eating right and working out go hand in hand, one doesn’t really work that well with out the other.
